Rob and Elvira took a trip to New Zealand with a very old high school friend and his wife. Clinton Pease, a retired Veterinarian, and his wife Judy, invited them to join an international tour made up of Guernsey Milk Cow owners (dairies and cattle collectors) to New Zealand.

“We knew next to nothing about Guernsey cattle but by the end of two weeks of visiting special Guernsey herds and dairy farms we could hold our own with most of the experts!”

It was a unique way to see a beautiful country and meet some great people. After the two-week tour across both islands Rob and Elvira extended the trip for another 2 ½ weeks and visited more of this remarkable country.

Of course, Clinton and Judy Pease had to receive one of Rob’s humorous caricature carvings to not only commemorate the trip but as a tremendous “Thank You” for 52 years of friendship.
